From April 21 to 23, the 2022 China Tourism Academy Summit was successfully held in Beijing. This annual conference, hosted by China Tourism Academy and co-organized by Ctrip Group, was held in the form of offline main venue session and online video broadcast. Dr. Hu Heping, Secretary of the Party Organization and Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended the event and delivered a speech.

With the theme of “tourism talent construction and youth talent cultivation”, the participants held discussions on topics such as discipline construction and tourism talent cultivation, modern tourism and talent construction, journal media and talent cultivation, and local demand and young talent growth. Professor Bai Jie, Vice President of Sichuan Tourism University, was invited to attend the academy summit and made a speech. Officials from relevant departments, bureaus and directly affiliated units of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and comrades in charge of local cultural and tourism administrative departments, as well as experts and scholars from tourism colleges/universities, research institutes, enterprises and public institutions attended the conference, with nearly 20,000 online participants.

The summit released the lists of classic cases, innovative cases and special cases of tourism talent training, and our university project was selected into the list of “10+2” classic cases of tourism talent training.
